Iván Rodríguez made more All-Star teams (14) and won more Gold Gloves (13) than any catcher in history. He also owns the record for most games at catcher with 2,427. “Pudge” hit .300 or better ten times from 1995-2006 and was named AL MVP with Texas in 1999. OTD in 2003, Rodríguez made an iconic play for the final out of the NLDS that helped lead the Marlins to the World Series championship. #HHM (MLB x @PureLifeus)

Jim Leyland changed the fortunes of franchises throughout his career. The Hall of Fame manager was hired by the @Marlins on this date in 1996 and the @tigers on this date in 2005 – leading both to the World Series the following year.

College GameDay crowd starts a "Cam Ward sucks" chant. Pat McAfee from the set, very calmly and stoically: "Cam Ward does not suck."

Nice to see Pipe getting a chance to interview for the managerial opening. Players liked him and it would bring continuity having someone from Skip's staff take over if selected to manage the #Marlins.
