That’s certainly the case for the Minnesota Twins, at least. Despite entering the season with one of the deeper starting rotations in baseball, the injury bug has crippled the Twins. The latest member of the pitching rotation to get shelved is Bailey Ober, who is set for his second stint on the Injured List this season. <a href="https://twitter.com/betsyhelfand/status/1533920924239527937?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1533920924239527937%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fclutchpoints.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost-new.php">According to Betsy Helfand</a>, the Twins have placed Ober back on the IL with a groin injury.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">The Twins will be placing Bailey Ober (groin) on the injured list. He’ll join fellow Twins rotation members <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/twins-news-minnesota-dealt-another-blow-with-sonny-gray/">Sonny Gray</a>, Joe Ryan, and Chris Paddack, all of whom are sidelined at the moment.</p><p>Ober had made just three starts since returning from the IL, so it’ll have been a short-lived return to action. Ober has made a total of seven starts this season, logging a 4.01 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 33.2 innings of work. He maintained a 1-2 record with a 1.277 WHIP, having surrendered 7 walks thus far into the campaign.</p><p>With Ober back on the IL, the Twins are reaching out to a former All-Star in hopes of adding some stability to the pitching staff. Aaron Sanchez and the Twins agreed to a minor-league contract and the former ERA champ is set to head to Triple-A St. Paul.</p><p>Sanchez previously appeared for the Nationals this season, but struggled mightily in 7 starts, logging an abysmal 8.33 ERA before being designated for assignment just over a week ago.</p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>
