As for the Guardians’ football relative in the form of the Cleveland Browns, it’s not going as well, as Nick Chubb and company are just 2-4 and are on a three-game losing streak.</p><p>Straw is not having a particularly great postseason, as he is <a href="https://www.mlb.com/stats/cleveland-guardians" rel="noopener">batting</a> just .190/,261/.238 since the end of the regular season. That said, the Guardians were still able to win two games in the series against the Yankees despite his cold bat. He will look to turn things around in Game 5. Things escalated after some more choice words were exchanged, culminating in Straw climbing up the wall and getting into the faces of the heckling fans. While face-to-face, Straw challenged the Yankees fans with some very NSFW comments before being convinced to climb back down and return to the field. Yankees Stadium has never been a particularly friendly grounds for opposing players, for better or for worse, and Straw witnessed that first-hand. Unfortunately, he let his temper get the best of him, though there were some across the league that felt his actions were justified.</p><p>Fans snapping back at chirping fans is par for the course in all professional sports, but Straw took things to a new level by getting directly in the face of the ridiculing Yankees fans.</p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>
