Goran Dragic may have gotten the nod as Miami's starting point guard for the playoffs, but this was brought about by the fact that Kendrick Nunn was not at full strength. Throughout the season, Dragic served as the Heat's Sixth Man, providing a much-needed scoring punch for the team off the bench.
Over the season, the one-time All-Star averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists, while also connecting on 2.1 triples per game on a 36.7-percent clip. Dragic was so impressive that he was in the conversation for the season's Sixth Man of the Year award.
Miami's starting lineup during the 2019-20 season consisted of Kendrick Nunn (PG), Jimmy Butler (SG), Duncan Robinson (SF), Bam Adebayo (PF), and Meyers Leonard (C).
Heading into the 2019-20 season, the Heat are projected to start Goran Dragic, Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Meyers Leonard. Tyler Herro, Avery Bradley, and Kendrick Nunn could crack the starting five as well.
