Who Is The Best Thunder's Player?

With the Thunder in full rebuild mode, this squad is currently characterized by a slew of young and promising talents. There is perhaps none brighter than 22-year-old guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

SGA, who spent his rookie year with the Los Angeles Clippers, arrived in Oklahoma City in the summer of 2019 as part of the Paul George trade. While it was the haul of future draft picks acquired by the Thunder that served as the centerpiece of the deal, Gilgeous-Alexander quickly emerged as a tremendous addition for OKC.

In his first season with the Thunder in 2019-20, the former 11th overall pick averaged 19.0 points (on 47.1 percent shooting), 5.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.1 steals, while also connecting on 1.2 triples per contest. SGA had another strong start to the 2020-21 campaign as he looks to establish himself as one of the best young guards in the league.
