Miles will be out of commission indefinitely after undergoing surgery on Wednesday morning to repair ligament damage in his left wrist, according to <a href="https://www.nba.com/wizards/cj-miles-injury-update-wrist-surgery" rel="noopener noreferrer">an official report</a> from the team.</p><p>It’s not clear how long Miles will be sidelined, as he is without a timetable for return. He suffered the injury on Nov. 26 against the <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/sports/nba/denver-nuggets/">Denver Nuggets</a>.</p><p>The fact that Miles will be sidelined indefinitely is tough news for the Wizards, who are currently holding a 6-13 overall record without John Wall. Unfortunately, Wall is expected to miss all of this season due to an Achilles injury.</p><p>Miles has made 10 appearances with the Wizards this season after coming over from the <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/sports/nba/memphis-grizzlies/">Memphis Grizzlies</a> this past summer in the Dwight Howard trade. Miles has averages of <a href="https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/milescj01.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">6.4 points</a> on 32.2 percent shooting from the field (31.4 percent from beyond the arc), 1.2 assists, 1.2 rebounds and a steal in 16.1 minutes per outing.</p><p>With Miles ruled out, the Wizards will likely give a bit more playing time to Troy Brown, Jordan McRae and Isaac Bonga.</p><p>The Wizards will look to snap a three-game losing streak on Thursday night, when they’ll serve as hosts to the Sixers.
