DeAndre Jordan currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets.
He was born on July 21, 1988 in Houston, TX.
He is listed at 6-foot-11 and weighs 265 lbs. Jordan went to high school at Christian Life Center Academy (TX) and then attended Texas A&M University.
Jordan was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers as the No. 35 overall pick in 2008. During his NBA career he has played 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, 1 season with the Dallas Mavericks and 1 season with the New York Knicks. He joined the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.
An NBA all-star in 2017, Jordan has also been named to three All-NBA teams throughout his career. He was the back-to-back rebounding leader in the league in 2014 and again in 2015.
Jordan was part of a trio with the Clippers known as “Lob City.” The nickname came from Blake Griffin after the team acquired Chris Paul in 2011. The three lived up to the nickname during their years in Los Angeles as Jordan and Griffin had one viral dunk after another with most of the passes coming from Paul.
Among all the hardware he has, Jordan was also part of the 2016 gold medal winning team in Rio de Janeiro.
