Devin Booker currently plays for the Phoenix Suns.
He was born on October 30, 1996 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Booker went to high school at Moss Point (MS) before committing to and attending the University of Kentucky for college. He was part of the 2014-15 Kentucky team that started the season 38-0 before losing in the Final Four to Wisconsin.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and weighing 206 lbs, Booker was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Booker is a two-time NBA all-star and also won the 2018 NBA Three-Point Contest.
He has slowly become one of the best pure shooters in the entire NBA and is regarded as one of the best three-point shooters in the league as well.
Booker’s most memorable performance to date came back on March 24, 2017. The Suns were on the road taking on the Boston Celtics. After scoring 19 points in the first half, Booker erupted for 51 in the second half, finishing the game with an even 70 points. He became the youngest player in league history to score 70 points in a game at 20 years, 145 days old. It was the first 70 plus point game in the NBA since Kobe Bryant had 81 against the Toronto Raptors in 2006.
