Gordon Hayward’s Net Worth in 2021 (estimate): $60 Million

Gordon Hayward’s net worth in 2021 is estimated to be at $60 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The 31-year-old small forward from Indianapolis, Indiana is entering his 12th year in the league when the 2021-2022 NBA season tips off.

Gordon Hayward has been an important piece for his squad ever since entering the NBA in 2010.

The 6’7 forward was selected as the 9th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. His rookie contract was worth $11 million for four years.

Hayward started his career rotating as a starter and an off the bench player. In the 2012-2013 season, he received a third-place vote for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year after averaging 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.

After the departure of Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson in the 2013 offseason, Hayward became the first offensive option for the Utah Jazz. He balled out as he averaged 16.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game in the final year of his rookie contract.

In the 2014 offseason, Hayward was a restricted free agent and he received an offer from the Charlotte Hornets for four years worth $63 million. The Utah Jazz matched the offer sheet and that kept Hayward put in Utah for the next four years.

The 2016-2017 season was a breakout year for Hayward as he was named a Western Conference All-Star for the first time in his career. He finished that year averaging a career-high 21.9 points per game.

After seven years with the Utah Jazz, Gordon Hayward announced via the Players’ Tribune that he will sign with the Boston Celtics, reuniting with his collegiate coach Brad Stevens and star point guard Kyrie Irving.

“I would really like to just take a moment and express how much these last seven years in Utah have meant to me. Because there’s only one fair way to say it: They’ve meant everything.” said Hayward on his Players’ Tribune article.

His contract with the Boston Celtics was a lucrative one. The deal was worth $128 million for four years. This brings his average salary to $31.9 million a year.

Unfortunately, Hayward’s first year with the Celtics was cut very short as he played only six minutes before suffering a fractured tibia and a dislocated ankle in their season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He eventually returned the following year, mainly coming off the bench as he was recuperating from his horrible injury.

After three years with the Celtics, Hayward decided to switch gears and join the Charlotte Hornets in a deal worth $120 million for four years.

His first season with the Hornets was a great one. He averaged 19.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists playing alongside the 2020-2021 NBA Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball.

As of this writing, Spotrac states that Gordon Hayward’s career earning is $206,809,749.

Along with his enormous career earnings, Gordon Hayward also has a shoe deal with Anta. He joined the Chinese sports brand in 2018 in a four-year deal. Hayward joins Klay Thompson as the top NBA athletes of Anta.

Gordon Hayward is also an avid gamer. In fact, he is the first NBA athlete to sign an endorsement deal with an ESports company. Hyper X and Gordon Hayward inked a deal in May 2016.

In January 2021, Gordon Hayward purchased a mansion in Charlotte worth $4.7 million. The mansion was built in 2006 and is spread across almost 8,800 square feet.

His mansion consists of 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a media room, wine cellar, and it is located in the 16th hole of the Carmel Country Club. Needless to say, Hayward can easily practice his golf skills when not preparing for an NBA game or playing his favorite video games.

Gordon Hayward also has top-notch cars in his arsenal.

Back in 2014, Hayward purchased a Tesla P85 Model S worth $80,000. Additionally, he also owns a Lamborghini Aventador worth $450,000 and a Range Rover that is priced at $92,000.

With the looks of it, Hayward is enjoying the fruits of his labor.

Despite suffering scary injuries throughout his career, the 11-year veteran is still a key part of a young Charlotte Hornets team and is still one of the most touted players in the league.
