Harden bio

James Harden currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets. 

Born on August 26, 1989 in Los Angeles, California, hee is listed at 6' 5" and weighs 220 lbs. 

Harden went to high school at Artesia (CA). A then fresh faced young man, no beard or anything, he committed to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

While there was a solid amount of hype on James Harden coming out of college, there were concerns about what type of player he would be in the NBA. Most specifically, would he be able to create separation at the next level, as experts were concerned with his alleged lack of athleticism.

All issues, in hindsight, that seem laughable give his ability to create separation with his absolutely delightful handles.. 

Eventually, he was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder as the #3 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Initially being more of a spark plug off the bench to score in bunches when Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook needed a break, he’d eventually leave for Houston where he’d become a bonafide superstar for the Rockets. 

During his NBA career he also played 3 seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and 9 seasons with the Houston Rockets.
