Kemba Walker currently plays for the Boston Celtics.
Born on May 08, 1990 in the Bronx, New York, he is listed at 6' 0" and weighs 184 lbs.
Walker went to high school at Rice (NY). After high school, he committed to play for the Connecticut Huskies. When in college, Walker etched his name in college basketball lore after several insane performances at Madison Square Garden.
After his electric college career, there were some concerns about if his size and volume-shooting ways would transition to the professional ranks. Nevertheless, using their No. 9 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets selected Walker to be their franchise guy.
A somewhat slow burn began to start his NBA career, but Kemba Walker eventually tied it all together, becoming one of the best volume-shooters in the entire league.
Shock was the name of the game at the end of his time with the Hornets, as Michael Jordan and company apparently didn’t believe Walker was worth all the money they could offer. However, Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics were true believers.
During his NBA career he also played 8 seasons with the Charlotte Hornets. He joined the Boston Celtics in 2019.
