The sharpshooting forward played four years of college hoops with the Creighton Bluejays.
Korver bagged back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference MVP awards in 2002 and 2003. He also finished his career at Creighton fourth all-time in scoring (1,801), leader in three-pointers made (371) and three-point attempts (819), first in three-point (45.3) and free throw (89.1) accuracy.

In the 2003 NBA Draft, Kyle Korver was selected as the 51st overall pick by the New Jersey Nets.

In the first few months of the 2007-2008 NBA season, the Sixers traded Korver to the Utah Jazz where he would play out the remainder of his contract.
On July 13, 2010, Kyle Korver signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Chicago Bulls. He spent two full seasons with the Bulls before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks for cash considerations.
In the 2013 offseason, Korver signed a four-year, $24 million contract extension with the Hawks.
In his second season in Atlanta, Korver passed Jason Richardson for 15th all-time in three-pointers made. In the same season, he was named for his one and only NBA All-Star selection — replacing the injured Dwyane Wade.

On January 7, 2017, Korver was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Mike Dunleavy and Mo Williams.
Kyle Korver then re-signed with the Cavs for three years worth $22 million.
At the start of the 2018-2019 NBA season, Kyle Korver was on his way back to Utah after the Cavs traded him for Alec Burks. This was the start of a roller coaster amount of moves for the sharpshooting forward.
On July 6, 2019, Korver was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies as a part of the package for Mike Conley. He was then traded to the Phoenix Suns where he was eventually waived.
He then signed with the Milwaukee Bucks for the remainder of the season for $2.5 million.
After 17 NBA seasons in the NBA, Kyle Korver has now joined Steve Nash’s staff at the Brooklyn Nets as a player development assistant coach.
