Lowry bio

Kyle Lowry currently plays for the Toronto Raptors. 

He was born on March 25, 1986 in Philadelphia, PA. He is listed at 6-foot-0 and weighs 196 lbs. 

Lowry went to high school at Cardinal Dougherty (PA) and then attended Villanova in college. 

He was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies as the No. 24 overall pick in 2006. During his NBA career he played 3 seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies and 4 seasons with the Houston Rockets before he was traded to the Toronto Raptors. He joined the Raptors in 2012.

Lowry is regarded as the greatest Toronto Raptor of all-time after spending most of his career in Toronto and flourishing will doing so.

Lowry is a six-time NBA all-star and was a critical piece in helping bring an NBA title to Toronto when they won it all in 2019.

He is first all-time in Raptors team history for assists and three-pointers made and he’s second all-time in games and minutes played for Toronto trailing only his former teammate, DeMar Derozan. 

On the court, Lowry is known for his pitbull type mentality and his ability to welcome contact and physicality at the point guard position. He’s been the pulse of the franchise for years now and will go down as one of the greats to ever do it in Toronto.
