Kyle Lowry’s Net Worth in 2021 (estimate): $55 Million

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kyle Lowry’s net worth in 2021 is $55 million.

Kyle Lowry has been a staple name in the NBA for more than a decade now. His rough and smart playstyle left a good mark on the fans of every team he has played for. And when you set yourself as one of the best at your position, you will most definitely get paid.

With 16 seasons in, Lowry has made a lot of money - especially considering that he was a late first-round draft pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.

Including this year’s salary, Lowry is estimated to have total career earnings of $213 million according to Spotrac.

From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kyle Lowry spent his college career with Villanova — where his #1 retired on February 27, 2020 — spending two years before declaring for the NBA Draft.

The 6-foot point guard was then selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 24th overall pick. He shared backcourt duties with Mike Conley during his stint with the Grizzlies.

Lowry was then traded to the Houston Rockets and played there for four years where he became one of the better and more composed point guards in the NBA.

After his tenure with the Rockets, Lowry was traded to the Raptors in 2012 where he became one of the franchise’s best players.

In 2014, Lowry signed an extension of four years, $48 million with the Raptors.

It was in Toronto where he truly became one of the best. He was voted in as an All-Star starter in the 2015 NBA All-Star game. The Raptors finished that season with a franchise-best 49-33 record, placing fourth in the Eastern Conference.

In 2017, Kyle Lowry signed a three-year extension worth $100 million. Just two years after signing his new contract, Lowry then helped the Raptors to the franchise’s first-ever NBA Championship when Toronto defeated the defending champions Golden State Warriors in six games.

Kyle Lowry was included in Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2020, he was placed at the 50th spot.

Kyle Lowry certainly cemented himself as arguably one of the best Toronto Raptors of all time. During his time in the Great White North, Lowry became the franchise’s all-time leader in assists, triple-doubles, steals, and three-point field goals.

Lowry was also named a six-time all-star with the Raptors, a member of the 2016 All-NBA Third Team, and an NBA champion.

He was also part of the USA team to win the gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

After a subpar 2020-2021 season where the Raptors finished as the 12th seed with a 27-45 record, Kyle Lowry was expected to leave Toronto to look for a contending team that can pay him during the offseason.

The Miami Heat came in knocking and eventually signed the Philadelphia native to a three-year, $85 million contract in a sign-and-trade deal that sent Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa to the Toronto Raptors.

The Heat re-tooled their roster with the addition of Lowry as they look to get another chance at the NBA title.

Kyle Lowry’s tenure in the NBA has spanned for more than 15 years, which surely spawned a lot of endorsement opportunities.

He was signed as an Adidas athlete in 2008, but he then agreed on an endorsement deal with Peak in 2012. Lowry eventually joined Adidas again in 2014.

During his time in Canada, he partnered with a lot of companies like Roots Canada, Sport Chek, and Citizen Canada watch company, to name a few.

In 2015, Lowry purchased a house in Wayne, Pennsylvania for $2.65 million. The property consists of 6 bedrooms, 8 baths, and a six-car garage over 4.5 acres of land.

In 2020, Lowry purchased a brand new Ferrari 812 GTS worth around 470,000 Canadian dollars.

Of course, the Philadelphia native doesn’t forget to give back as he and his wife launched the Lowry Love Foundation in 2013.

The goal is to help underprivileged kids of Philadelphia and Toronto have a good quality of life. This includes providing meals, books, bags, and school supplies to kids.

Lowry also hosted a Lowry Love Benefit clinic after winning the 2016 Olympic gold medal. This clinic was supported by Jr. NBA, Adidas, and Body Armor.

It is still a question if Kyle Lowry will win another NBA ring before he decides to hang it up. But one thing is for certain, he has enjoyed the fruits of his labor and he won’t ever forget to give back and help the young ones have good foundations for their future.
