Lonzo Ball currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans.
Born on October 27, 1997 in Anaheim, California, he is listed at 6' 6" and weighs 190 lbs.
Ball famously went to high school at Chino Hills (CA). Already internationally known as a high school talent, Ball eventually committed to the famed UCLA Bruins. In his lone season in college, he transformed the then-downtrodden program, turning it into a national darling.
After his exploits in college, which included turning non-NBA players into draft selections through his abilities alone, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. This decision came with an insane amount of fanfare.
While he’s, through no fault of his own, as known for his father’s tomfoolery as he is his actual abilities, Lonzoa is known for his handles and floor vision. While a bit of a wonky shot, he did shoot a high percentage from deep at the collegiate ranks, providing hope to many that he’s one good offseason away from taking his game to the next level.
