Tyrese Haliburton currently plays for the Sacramento Kings.
He was born on February 29, 2000 in Oshkosh, WI. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and weighs 185 lbs.
Haliburton went to high school at Oshkosh North (WI) and then attended Iowa State University in college.
He was drafted by the Sacramento Kings as the No. 12 overall pick in 2020. During his NBA career he has played with the Sacramento Kings since 2020.
Haliburton was a “late bloomer” by many metrics and wasn’t your typical “one and done” NBA top ten pick. Haliburton spent 2018 to 2020 in Ames, Iowa and took part of the national spotlight in his last year as a Cyclone.
His best measure for improvement could perhaps come from his high school ranking. Haliburton was only a three-star recruit coming out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and by the time he left Iowa State for the NBA, the assumption would’ve been that he was a no doubt five-star talent.
Haliburton emerged as one of the top rookies of the 2020 class fairly early on in his career. An instant offense scoring threat off the bench as a rookie, Haliburton has shown the confidence and swagger that many lack early on in their careers. The pick by Sacramento has already looked to be a gem.
