In those 41 games, the Green Bay native ran the ball just 15 times for 22 yards with no touchdowns but added 28 receptions for 239 yards with three scores.</p><p>Ingold signed a two-year/$6.5 million contract with the Dolphins ahead of last season and started 14 of 17 games for Mike McDaniel, recording eight rushing yards on six carries and 15 catches for 105 yards while scoring a career-high two touchdowns.</p><p>While he obviously doesn’t touch the football often, Alec Ingold has become a vital member of the Dolphins’ attack, as fullback utilization is a big part of McDaniel’s Kyle Shanahan-style offense. The 27-year-old was entering a contract year, but his football future is now set as he’s tied to the Dolphins through the 2026 season.</p><p>While Ingold’s future in South Beach is set, Miami GM Chris Grier <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38292388/dolphins-tabling-tua-wilkins-contract-talks-season" rel="noopener">told reporters on Wednesday</a> that extension negotiations with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins have been tabled.</p><p>The Dolphins open their 2023 season on September 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.</p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>

A 5 – 3 record entering Week 10 fails to show the numerous off-field issues that have plagued the organization in the season. Now, another major setback can potentially derail their season if it’s proven to be true.</p><p>Raiders fullback and team co-captain Alec Ingold was carted off the field with an injury in their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and was immediately ruled out of the game. An hour later, Tom Pelissero reported the Raiders’ biggest fears about Ingold’s injury:</p><blockquote>“The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Raiders?src=hashtag_click">#Raiders</a> fear FB Alec Ingold suffered a torn ACL, source said. He’ll have tests Monday to confirm. A big loss of one of the NFL’s best fullbacks, team captain and key leader.”</blockquote><p>It’s been issue after issue for the Raiders this season. First, ex-head coach Jon Gruden was implicated in a series of emails that displayed racist, homophobic, and misogynistic tendencies. Gruden would <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/raiders-news-jon-gruden-to-resign-as-las-vegas-head-coach/">eventually resign</a>, but that would only be the start of the turmoil. Weeks later, wide receiver Henry Ruggs was involved in a DUI case that killed a woman, leading to Ruggs’ <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/raiders-news-las-vegas-releases-henry-ruggs-iii-after-fatal-accident-dui-charge/">removal from the team</a>. Shortly after, cornerback Damon Arnette was released after he was caught <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/raiders-news-las-vegas-cuts-another-2020-1st-round-pick-due-to-legal-issues-threats-made-with-gun/">waving a gun on social media and making graphic threats</a>.</p><p>The Raiders have been doing a solid job on the field, but the personnel they’ve had to let go, along with Ingold’s injury, could have potential ramifications on their season.
