It was a quiet day for the Atlanta offense, who got a solid game out of <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/falcons-news-bijan-robinson-breaks-rb-franchise-record-snf-49ers">star running back Bijan Robinson</a> but couldn’t get much else going on that end of the field.</p><p>Meanwhile, on the other side, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey had his best game of the season, showing his versatility as both a runner and a pass catcher and scoring two key touchdowns for San Francisco. As NBC’s telecast never hesitated to point out, Robinson and McCaffrey worked out together frequently over the offseason, leading to natural comparisons between the two.</p><p>However, one person who <a href="https://x.com/TerrinWaack/status/1980306767092514939" rel="noopener">doesn’t see the similarities</a> as much is Falcons linebacker Kaden Eliss.</p><p>“It’s not really like Bijan. It’s very different from him. Although you think about their stats so similarly, it’s not like McCaffrey’s really dancing out there, but he reads everything perfectly,” said Eliss, per Terrin Waack of the Falcons on X, formerly Twitter.</p><p>McCaffrey sure looked like the MVP candidate version of himself on Sunday night, constantly finding seams in the Atlanta defense both in the running and receiving game.</p><h2><b>A tough loss for the Falcons</b></h2><figure><img src="https://wp.clutchpoints.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Bijan-Robinson-handoff.jpg"><figcaption>Kyle Terada-Imagn Images</figcaption></figure><p>The Atlanta Falcons have arguably the NFL’s best offensive player in Bijan Robinson, an elite wide receiver in Drake London, a solid offensive line, and a young quarterback who has shown an intriguing skillset, even if consistency is still an issue.</p><p>However, the Falcons consistently perform well below their talent level on that end of the field, drawing calls from the fanbase for the team to move on from offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.</p><p>Meanwhile, Atlanta’s defense didn’t exactly put forth its magnum opus on Sunday night, although allowing 20 points on the road should be enough to give the team a legitimate chance to win.</p><p>In any case, the Falcons will look to get back in the win column next week when they host the freefalling Miami Dolphins at 1:00 PM ET from Atlanta.</p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>

This was thanks to the efforts of Robinson, who has shined as one of the best overall players in the NFL.</p><p>He didn’t disappoint in the Sunday night matchup. He would reach the end zone midway through the third quarter, catching a 10-yard pass from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. as he scored the touchdown.</p><p>This marked the seventh touchdown of Robinson’s career with the Falcons within three seasons. He <a href="https://x.com/tori_mcelhaney/status/1980096797621342660" rel="noopener">made history with this feat</a>, per reporter Tori McElhaney.</p><p>“Bijan Robinson has seven receiving touchdowns through his first three seasons. San Francisco’s defense, despite suffering multiple injuries going into the game, was stout as the Falcons were unable to exploit the unit’s weaknesses. The 49ers led 10-3 at halftime, an advantage they never gave up in the second half.</p><p>Michael Penix Jr. had a decent showing despite not being able to spark a rally in the fourth quarter. He completed 21 passes out of 38 attempts for 241 yards and a touchdown while making two rushes for six yards.</p><p>Robinson ended the night with 14 of the team’s 20 carries for 40 yards while catching six passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. Darnell Mooney was solid with three receptions for 68 yards, Kyle Pitts St. had seven catches for 62 yards, while Drake London caught four passes for 42 yards.</p><p>The Falcons will look to bounce back in their next matchup, being at home. Atlanta’s head coach believes that one player deserves a ton of credit after his team’s huge primetime win.</p><p>Falcons head coach Raheem Morris <a href="https://x.com/PSchrags/status/1977949050306461753" rel="noopener">heaped praise on his running back</a> Bijan Robinson after the team’s big win on Monday.</p><p>“He’s the best player in football,” Morris declared after the game, per ESPN’s Peter Schrager. “I’ve said it several times. I can’t say it enough.”</p><p>Bijan had a great game, so it is no surprise that his head coach is praising him. Robinson rumbled for 170 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. He even <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/falcons-news-bijan-robinson-insane-81-yard-mnf-touchdown-bills">ripped off an 81-yard touchdown run</a>, the longest of his NFL career. Bijan also added six receptions for 68 receiving yards.</p><p><a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/falcons-news-bijan-robinson-completes-incredible-feat-last-seen-1991">Robinson also became the first NFL player since 1991</a> to record 450 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards during the first five games of the season.</p><p>Atlanta is at its best when Bijan is playing at an elite level. By the end of it, he couldn’t contain his joy.</p><p><a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/bills-news-fans-shambles-brutal-ending-mnf-falcons-second-loss">Robinson helped the Falcons upset the Bills</a>, 24-14, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday to notch back-to-back wins and improve to 3-2. Robinson rushed for a career-high 170 yards on 19 carries, highlighted by a career-long 81-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give the Falcons more momentum at halftime.</p><p>From there, the Falcons fended off the Bills, who made multiple comeback attempts. Atlanta’s defense forced Buffalo to make critical miscues, including quarterback <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/bills-news-josh-allen-sobering-take-mnf-loss-falcons">Josh Allen’s intercepted pass in their final drive</a> in the fourth quarter.</p><p>The 23-year-old Robinson credited their defense <a href="https://x.com/tori_mcelhaney/status/1977931737507184668" rel="noopener">with a candid remark</a>.</p><p>“I am glad I wasn’t tripping in the summer.
