He thanked her during his NFL Honors MVP speech.</p><p>“You’ve been my rock; you are my best friend,” Allen said during his acceptance speech. “I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”</p><p>He also credited Steinfeld for helping him with his fresh look.</p><p>“Anytime I look good, it’s because of Hailee. Steinfeld interviewed Allen for her Beau Society newsletter about the day of the engagement.</p><p>“I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen said. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then multiple times throughout the day, a song would come on, and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”</p><p>The couple are rumored to be getting married next month. According to the quarterback’s teammate, Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins, shared last month that Allen and Steinfeld would be tying the knot on May 31.</p><p>“Josh Allen is one of those guys and he sealed that deal. And soon to come. May 31. It’s happening,” Dawkins responded in a March 7 appearance on Good Morning Football when asked <a href="https://twitter.com/archiveshailees/status/1898054848127398308" rel="noopener">if he was going to attend any weddings soon.</a></p><p>While a wedding date has not been formally announced, the timeline of a May wedding does line up with what a source told Us Weekly about them <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/hailee-steinfeld-josh-allen-will-have-very-intimate-wedding-source/" rel="noopener">not wanting to wait to be married.</a></p><p>“They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway,” a source told Us Weekly. “Hailee is very excited about the planning process, and now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can have more time to make decisions together.”</p><p>“They only have a few timeframes they can have the wedding, so they are nailing down the logistics and are location scouting right now,” the source added. “It will be a very intimate but extravagant event.”</p><p> </p><figure class="op-tracker"></figure></article>    </body></html>

He feels that way about <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/ncaa-football/will-howard-2025-nfl-draft-projection-ohio-state-national-championship">Ohio State football quarterback Will Howard</a>, as well as reigning MVP, Josh Allen.</p><p>In Gruden’s QB class, he sat down with the national champion and <a href="https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jon-gruden-says-ohio-state-qb-will-howard-is-like-a-young-josh-allen" rel="noopener">said something rather boldly</a> to him.</p><p>“You’re a big, dual-threat quarterback, aren’t you?” Gruden said to Howard. “That’s the MVP of the league. He’s a real big dual threat.”</p><p>“How the hell do people not like you as the No. 1 quarterback in the draft?” Gruden said to Howard. “You’re like a young Josh Allen.”</p><p>Howard’s size alone has some intrigue. At 6’4, he has plenty of size and strength for the quarterback position. However, his arm and other attributes don’t stand out, compared to other players.</p><p>He’s not the most dynamic player with his legs. Still, the Ohio State quarterback <a href="https://thedraftnetwork.com/2025/01/07/will-howard-scouting-report-nfl-draft#:~:text=Standing%20at%206%2Dfoot%2D4,runs%20or%20in%20scramble%20situations." rel="noopener">can do everything quite well</a>. After all, he led the Big Ten in completion percentage, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.</p><p>In a conference dominated by the run game, Howard showed that he made the right decision going from Kansas State to the Buckeyes.</p><h2><b>Jon Gruden sees Will Howard as Josh Allen</b></h2><p>While the two have similar physical traits, just because it has a resemblance, doesn’t mean it can happen. However, the comparisons seem to make sense.</p><p>With an offensive system around him, Howard flourished. Along with wide receivers Emeka Egbuka, and Jeremiah Smith, and running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, the offense was elite.</p><p>Also, offensive coordinator Chip Kelly had Ohio State football on top of the college football world.</p><p>Still, moving from college to the pros is a vast jump. As mentioned earlier, there isn’t anything eye-popping that stands out. However, that can be probably the best thing.</p><p>At this stage, it might be better to have a quarterback that is solid at everything, than elite at one specific thing. Howard’s game can develop, and if put in the right situation, he can thrive.</p><p>After all, <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/nfl/pittsburgh-steelers/steelers-news-mike-tomlin-teases-qb-visits-to-notre-dame-ohio-state-texas">Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin teased a quarterback visit to Ohio State</a>. Although the team seems to be set on Jalen Milroe, anything can change leading up to the draft.</p><p>No matter what, Gruden has all the confidence in the world in Howard. Once again, the former Buckeyes quarterback could be underestimated if he were to be drafted.</p><p>He has the physical tools and the mental edge. Well, you've come to the right place.</address><h3 class="op-kicker">NCAA Football</h3><figure class="op-ad"></figure></header><p>With the <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/editorials/2025-nfl-draft-how-to-watch-on-tv-stream-date-time-top-prospects-draft-order" rel="noopener">2025 NFL Draft rapidly approaching</a>, collegiate hopefuls are using their platforms to effectively sell themselves to the 32 professional teams, from having visits to going on dinners and even hitting the talkshow circuit to get their point across.</p><p>One such example includes <a href="https://clutchpoints.com/ncaa-football/louisville-tyler-shough-will-move-up-boards-after-impressive-nfl-combine">Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough</a>, who went on ESPN’s NFL Live to highlight why he’s worthy of leading a team into the future, with the 25-year-old collegiate journeyman <a href="https://x.com/ESPNNFL/status/1908267115695530445" rel="noopener">comparing his game</a> to future Hall of Famers Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen.</p><p>“That’s pretty unique cause I’ve always said in these meetings, for me, I grew up watching Stafford and the stuff that he does with his arm angles. He’s a tough son of a gun, he’s playing through a lot of stuff and has been around. He’s playing really well into his late 30s. I’ve always really liked him,” Shough said.</p><p>“I also like watching Josh Allen play, and I kind of feel like I have a little of him in me when it comes to being a physical force at the line of scrimmage and ripping the ball down the field. I would say those two guys come to mind.”</p><p>On one hand, Stafford and Allen are very different players. The former is an old-school field general who plays between the tackles and gets things down with his arm, while Allen is much more of a duel threat, with his ability to pick up yards when everyone is covered with his legs, all the while forcing opposing teams to play the Buffalo Bills accordingly.</p><p>And yet, in a way, Shough does play a bit like both, using his arm to get most of the job done while still picking up yards with his legs when the opportunity allows for it. Though he may be 25, and will be 26 when the season starts, Shough <a href="https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyler-shough/32005348-4f76-8898-2122-c8ee34c8b6a6" rel="noopener">ran a 4.63 40 at the combine</a> and was able to back that up with some good performances over the past 12 months.</p><p>Throw that all together, and there’s a reason some have suggested that he could squeeze into the end of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.</p><p>Will some teams have pause about drafting a quarterback who can rent a car and will be 30 during his fifth-year option season? Sure, some certainly will, but in the NFL Draft, all it takes is one team to make a move, and the deed will be done.
