Where Do The Rockets Play?
—The Toyota Center in downtown Houston is the arena the Rockets call home. This 18,000-capacity stadium officially opened in 2003, with the total construction cost amounting to $235 million.
The city of Houston shouldered the majority of the construction expenses, while the Rockets organization spent for the enhancements. Japanese automotive brand Toyota paid $100 million for naming rights of the stadium.
